Know the Difference
The term “CBD oil” is often used interchangeably to describe cannabis oils, although it is absolutely essential to distinguish whether the oil is based on isolate, full spectrum, or broad spectrum CBD.
Isolate:
This pure form of CBD contains only CBD without other cannabinoids, terpenes, or fatty acids. It is generally well tolerated, though with minimal effects.
This means the oil only includes cannabinoids and no terpenes or flavonoids. As a result, it cannot deliver the sought-after entourage effect.
At Wetality, we use almost no isolates, as we want our oils to contain all cannabinoids and terpenes.
Full Spectrum:
By using the entire plant extract, this oil contains a wide range of cannabinoids, terpenes, and other compounds.
Even though it may include trace amounts of THC, it still provides the entourage effect.
Broad Spectrum:
Similar to Full Spectrum, this oil retains a variety of cannabinoids and terpenes, but undergoes a process that removes all traces of THC.
It delivers the entourage effect without inducing any psychoactive effects.
