Description

Jojoba oil with CBD (Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil) is a 100% organic, cold-pressed virgin oil known for its mild, hypoallergenic, and effective cosmetic properties. The name jojoba comes from the word Hohowi, which means seeds or nuts. Native American tribes used jojoba oil to treat wounds and burns, as well as for skin and hair care.

In the 1970s, jojoba oil began to replace animal waxes when these were banned. Today, jojoba is recognized as an even better alternative due to its moisturizing effect and high stability.

Jojoba oil is technically a plant wax and not a traditional oil. This makes it extremely stable and resistant to oxidation. It is easily absorbed by the skin without leaving a greasy surface, while forming a protective barrier that allows the skin to breathe. Jojoba oil is non-comedogenic and does not clog pores, making it suitable for oily, blemished, and sensitive skin, including teenage skin.

The oil naturally contains vitamin E, which contributes antioxidant properties and helps protect the skin against oxidative stress. Regular use can help improve the appearance of the skin, including fine lines and scars. Jojoba oil can also be used to soothe and moisturize dry skin, for example after sun exposure.

As a carrier oil, jojoba oil is ideal for diluting essential oils before topical application. It is often used in personal oil blends and cosmetic products due to its skin-friendly profile and good absorption properties.

Clear, light yellow, slightly viscous liquid.

• Palmitic acid (C16:0): ≤ 3.0%

• Oleic acid (C18:1): 5.0–20.0%

• Eicosenoic acid (C20:1): 55.0–75.0%

• Behenic acid (C22:0): ≤ 1.0%

• Erucic acid (C22:1): 10.0–20.0%

• Tetracosenoic acid (C24:1): ≤ 3.0%

Wetality's production method:
The oil is produced by cold pressing and filtering seeds from the Simmondsia Chinensis shrub.

Use:
Use as a cosmetic product on its own or mix with essential oils as needed. Suitable for skin, hair, scalp, face, and body care.
